Formerly the managing partner of one of Scotland’s biggest law firms, our principal, Michael Murphy, has more than 30 years’ experience in providing high quality legal advice to businesses and business owners, both in the UK and internationally. He is a clear and effective communicator and an expert negotiator with an outstanding reputation.

“Michael Murphy remains one of the best negotiators you could find – just great to deal with.”

“Wins praise for his firm negotiating technique and excellent, clear communication skills”

“The professionalism you brought to bear allowed us to find solutions – your practical and commercially astute approach is rare indeed.”

“You have done an excellent job. You were absolutely key to the final successful outcome, for which we are extremely grateful.”

“You made complicated legal issues clear and simple for us, explaining things in plain English.”

All of our business is generated either through repeat work from our existing clients, many of whom we are privileged to have represented as their trusted advisors for decades, or through referrals from valued connections that we have built up over years in practice. We very rarely take on new work on spec, but we are happy to give preliminary advice where we can and if we are unable to help you we can refer you to one of our associate practices.
